Login to the Kickdynamic platform and navigate to the template section.

You will automatically be taken to the Content Automation tab. 

To create a new template, click '+ New Template'. 

Give the template a name. On the right hand side, click on 'Connect'. This will enable you to connect your feed to the image template. 

This will take you to the content source library. You can either select the data source you wish to use, or add a new data source. 

Adding a new data source

Click on '+ Add New Content Source'. Name the data source, and then select the data source type. 

Click next. Paste the link to the hosted feed in the end point box. 

To test the feed, click 'Test Request'. Click next. 

Select a product Key - this is likely to be price and/or product key. Save. 

Select the feed from the library and click 'Done'.

The template is now connected to your feed:


Design the Template

Click on the canvas and change the size to the dimensions required:


Select the 'High Resolution' box to create retina images (recommended).

Click on the "+' icon to add a block:

Click on the link icon to connect the block to the feed:

Select the 'Content Source' radio box and unpack the feed. Select the field you wish to connect the block to and click done. 

You will now see the block containing the content from the first product in the feed:

Click on the blue arrows to auto-size the image to the correct dimensions. Position the block as required. Repeat this for each block until you have matched the design required.

You can use the functions to apply styling to the blocks. 

For example, for capitalisation:


For numerical boxes, you may wish to apply logic such as decimal places or a prefix. You can do this in the text tab on the right hand side:

To allign the boxes, press ctrl/cmd and click on the boxes. An allignement tool will appear:

Once you are happy with your design, click on the eye icon to preview your template. Use the arrows to preview through the products in the feed:

Save the template. 

You can now create a tag.
